Hippo, Rhino, Buffalo

Tanzania 2012 - Hippo, Rhino & Buffalo
No real reason for lumping these three animals together on one page other than they are all big and had to go with something.

Having a roll (but the water was so mucky you really wouldn't want to be in there with them!)



Cute little babies! Mum was just round the corner.


Think the one on the left is having a tantrum. He continued to be aggressive towards the others all the time we were watching them.


		There were hundreds of Hippo in the Mara River

Black Rhinocerous		It was a real treat to see this mum and calf Black Rhino. They are well up the endangered species list and each of the Rhino in the Ngorongoro Crater has its own keeper who has to check it's OK on a daily basis. These two seemed quite relaxed ambling around and munching their breakfast.



Buffalo

		I fit quite well under here!
