Mum & Dad started to get a bit affectionate and then went across the road for lunch |
||
Junior was left behind but kept his eye on Mum |
Their pointy hooves help them scamper across the rocks and escape when something is trying to catch them to eat. They walk as if they're on points all the time (like ballet dancers). They are very elegant animals. |
|
Eventually Junior gave up waiting for them to come home and scampered back into the rocks. |

Reedbuck |

Thompson's Gazelle |
||
First they ran this way in front of our vehicle ... |
||
... and then they ran back again. The baby did really well to keep up! |
||
Topi |

Waterbuck |

Western Bearded Wildebeest

The Mara Crossing that we witnessed was chaotic. Hard to believe that for the Wildebeest not involved in that particular crossing, all remains calm as normal. |
